I was recommended to Dr. Cywes by a family friend. I had put on a lot of weight and was very depressed as well as borderline diabetic. I had my first visit on February 14, 2007 and was approved for the Lap-Band procedure. My surgery date was July 5, 2007. The doctors and staff here were very thorough and explained everything that was expected. It has now been about one year and a half since my surgery. I have lost 166.5 lbs. and feel wonderful. My health and mental state have both improved tremendously. I owe this all to Dr. Cywes and his loving and caring staff. It has been a very long journey but was well worth it.
